About us
There are very many lovely and interesting things, both natural and man-made, on our planet, and it has been most rewarding to capture some of them through the camera lens. Taking photographs has been a way to relax and be creative for my family and me for some time now.
When looking for greetings cards to buy for family and friends, I personally gravitate towards those cards which depict the wonders of nature, or those with a historical feel to them. As someone who prefers the simple touch, it can be disappointing when photos have been very enhanced, or which may have the perfect picture but the words inside feel too contrived, and just don't fit the person I am wanting to give the card to. So, simple and memory-provoking images recapturing fun filled holidays, or the delightful inhabitants of our natural world, or a favourite hobby or interest of someone we love, with simply expressed intentions, is the concept behind these greetings cards.
I hope they bring as much satisfaction to you as we received when we caught each moment in time.
It is also important to me that the cards you choose are of good quality, and so I have gone for higher specifications for these cards. All the cards are 400gsm, which I have found means that they stand up well, and do not slide down into a flopped position – a pet hate of mine! The cards come in either a satin finish or a glossy finish, depending on the photograph portrayed, aiming for the best presentation. Each card is checked to ensure there are no printing flaws before sending out.
I mostly provide white envelopes but some of the cards come with a coloured envelope, which is more costly but works especially well with a lot of the laminated cards. The differences in the prices reflect both the size of the cards, and the type of finish and envelope used. Some images have worked best being presented as a square, and others in a rectangle shape. They are 148mm x 148mm (5.8 x 5.8 inches), or 148mm x 210mm (5.8 x 8.3 inches), and either portrait or landscape. The rectangle ones are slightly larger than most other similar greetings cards I have seen for sale, which are usually 5 x 7 inches, but I find that they do present the photographs very well.
Please enjoy looking through the website! I am aiming to expand this range to include some interesting items and places of interest. I also intend to add some cards with simply expressed, heartfelt greetings. I want to offer the kind of cards that interest you, and welcome your feedback!
